Samsung has finally announced the launch date for its next flagship Galaxy lineup. Samsung’s latest lineup of Galaxy flagship phones is rumoured to feature Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The new smartphones are expected to offer upgrades in terms of performance, camera, and overall design. Already, Samsung Galaxy S21 details have leaked in multiple leaks and rumours. Samsung will reportedly add S Pen functionality to its flagship phones. The stylus has so far remained an exclusive offering for its iconic Note series. Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. The Plus model will have a 6.7-inch display. Both the models will feature full HD+ panels with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screens also support HDR 10+ and up to 1,300 nits brightness. You can also expect Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass Victus protection and under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It further reveals the phones have Samsung’s new Exynos processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB built-in storage. There is no word on whether the phones have a microSD card slot or not. On the software front, it has Android 11-based One UI 3.1. Galaxy S21 will run on a 4,000mAh battery, and the Galaxy S21+ will offer a 4,800mAh battery. The report says the two phones come with 25W fast charging. You can also expect Qi wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support.
Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are said to come with a 10-megapixel front-facing camera. The sensor has an f/2.2 aperture and supports up to 4K at 60fps video recording. On the back, the two phones have three camera sensors – 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor with OIS, 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS. The rear camera supports up to 8K at 30fps.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra come with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, two 10-megapixel cameras with zoom capabilities, one 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. You can expect basics such as PDAF, Laser AF, and LED flash with the S21 Ultra as well. On the front, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to come with a 40-megapixel sensor. It will also have the latest Exynos processor along with OneUI 3.1 OS with Android 11 on top.
